Plenty of people do not want AI in their market data. Not out of principle, but because they come to a finance page with a question a number can answer. Price, change, volume, P/E. A generated paragraph is slower than a table.

The new Google Finance has no setting to disable its AI features. The classic, AI-free version was retired in July 2026. Folivue rebuilds it.

Why AI-free matters for market data

Market data is one of the few places where the interface should add nothing. A summary can be stale in seconds. A generated answer can hedge, average, or hallucinate. The number is the answer. The old Google Finance understood that, which is why its densest page was its best page.
