Nothing on Folivue is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy, sell or hold any security. Prices, charts, company figures, headlines, movers, trending lists and the securities the site suggests are information, not guidance. They are presented the same way to everybody: Folivue knows nothing about your circumstances, your objectives, your tax position or your capacity to bear a loss, and it has not considered any of them.

Folivue is not a broker, dealer, custodian, fund manager or financial adviser. It does not execute orders, hold client money or assets, and it has no relationship with your broker. It is not licensed or regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and does not carry on any activity requiring a licence under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 or the Financial Advisers Act 2001.

Decisions you take after looking at Folivue are yours alone. Before you act on anything you read here, speak to a licensed financial adviser who knows your situation.

Market data is third-party, delayed and unverified

Folivue does not produce market data. Quotes, charts, company financials, profiles, news headlines, earnings dates and the most-active/gainers/losers lists all come from a third-party market-data provider. Folivue passes that data through with formatting, and nothing more:

• It may be delayed.Folivue has no agreement with any exchange for real-time data and makes no claim that any figure is real-time. Depending on the security and the exchange, the provider’s own feed can lag the market by fifteen minutes or more, and Folivue caches on top of that (see below).
• It may be wrong, stale or missing. Prices, currencies, share counts, corporate figures and timestamps can all be incorrect at source. Folivue does not verify them against any other source.
• It can disappear without saying so.When the provider fails, Folivue is built to keep the page up and show an empty section rather than an error. An empty news list, an empty movers table or a missing chart therefore means “we could not fetch this” at least as often as it means “there is nothing here”, and a degraded empty result is itself cached for a short time.
• News headlines are not ours. They are supplied by the same provider and link out to publishers Folivue has no relationship with. Their presence is not an endorsement of the story, the publisher or the view expressed.

Do not trade on the numbers on this site. Check the price with your broker or the exchange before you act on it. Folivue is not a source of record for anything.

How fresh the figures actually are

These are Folivue’s own caching windows — the delay the site adds on top of whatever delay the provider is already carrying. They are not a statement about the exchange’s dissemination delay, which Folivue cannot see and does not control.

• Quotes are revalidated about every 10 seconds and can be served for up to a minute. On a watchlist or a portfolio the page also re-requests them roughly every 15 seconds while the tab is open and visible; in a background tab it stops asking until you come back.
• Chartsare revalidated about every minute, and the interval between plotted points widens with the range — a 1D chart is built from minute bars, MAX from monthly ones.
• Company financials, profiles and earnings dates are revalidated about once a day.
• Newsis revalidated about every 15 minutes; the “x hours ago” ages are measured from when the feed was fetched, not from now.
• Movers and trending symbols are revalidated about every 5 minutes.

When a price cannot be fetched at all, the row shows a dash rather than the last figure it remembers. A dash means “unknown”. It never means zero.

Past performance

Past performance is not an indicator of future results.A chart, a five-year range, a gain in your portfolio or a security’s position in a top-movers list says nothing about what it will do next. The value of investments can fall as well as rise, currency movements can amplify either, and you can lose the whole amount you put in.

Portfolio values are your estimates, not a statement

Folivue’s portfolio pages say “Portfolio values are estimates” under the total, and they mean it literally. A Folivue portfolio is a ledger of transactions you typed in yourself. Nothing is imported from a broker, a custodian or a tax authority, nothing is reconciled against one, and Folivue holds no assets and no money on your behalf. It is not a brokerage statement, a contract note, a custodial record or a valuation.

Concretely, that means:

• Cost basis is average-cost.Folivue replays your buys and sells and keeps one average cost per symbol. Your broker or your tax authority may use FIFO or another method, so Folivue’s gain figures can legitimately differ from theirs. They are not a tax calculation and must not be used as one.
• Only what you entered is counted.Fees are the ones you typed. Folivue does not model dividends, interest, stock splits, mergers, spin-offs, rights issues, withholding tax, stamp duty or any other corporate action — so after a split, or on a security that pays income, your position and your gain will drift from reality until you correct the ledger yourself.
• Multi-currency totals convert at today’s rate.When a portfolio holds securities quoted in more than one currency, both the market value and the cost basis are converted at the current exchange rate — not at the rate on the day of each trade. That is deliberate, because it keeps the percentage from being moved by currency, but it means the total is not what you would have realised in that currency, and the exchange rates themselves are quotes from the same third-party provider.
• Unknowns are shown as unknown.A lot saved without a purchase price, or a holding in a currency with no available rate, makes the figures that depend on it unknowable — Folivue shows --- and --% rather than guessing, and never renders an unknown as zero.
• A position sold to zero leaves the table but not the totals. Its realised result stays inside Total gain. See Help for the full explanation.

No affiliation, and whose marks these are

Folivue is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by or connected in any way with Google LLC, Alphabet Inc., Yahoo Inc., any exchange, any index provider or any other data vendor. Signing in with a Google account uses Google’s standard sign-in service and creates no relationship between Folivue and Google beyond that.

Company names, product names, security names, ticker symbols, index names, logos and trade marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used here only to identify the securities and sources the information relates to. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation, in either direction.

Index values, exchange data and other licensed content remain the property of the exchanges, index providers and vendors that produce them, and may be subject to their own terms. Folivue redistributes none of it in bulk, and you may not either — see the Terms.

No warranty

Folivue is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Folivue does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that data will be correct, or that any error will be corrected. The limits on liability in the Terms apply to everything on this page.
