Folivue Portfolio Exporter
Extension privacy policy
What the Chrome extension reads, why it needs that information, and why the exported data stays under your control.
Last updated 7 August 2026
Scope and operator
This policy applies only to the Folivue Portfolio Exporter Chrome extension. The extension is operated by Age Otori Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201811354W), at 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914 (“Folivue”, “we” or “us”).
The Folivue website and web application are covered by the separate Folivue privacy policy. The extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Data the extension handles
When you open the extension on Google Finance, it reads only the page information needed to find and export your portfolios and watchlists. Depending on what is present in your account, that information may include:
- portfolio and watchlist names and identifiers;
- security symbols contained in your watchlists and portfolios;
- portfolio transaction details, including the symbol, transaction type, date, number of shares and per-share price; and
- limited page details needed to perform the scan, including the current Google Finance page address, page title and display locale.
Chrome classifies the portfolio transaction details as financial information and the Google Finance page elements as website content. The extension handles both only to create the export you request.
The extension does not intentionally read your name, email address, Google password, authentication cookies, payment-card details or brokerage credentials. It does not read pages outside https://www.google.com/finance/ and does not monitor your general browsing history, clicks, scrolling or keystrokes.
How the data is used
The extension uses the information above for one purpose: exporting selected Google Finance lists.
- Opening the extension scans the active Google Finance page for exportable lists.
- You choose which portfolios and watchlists to include.
- If a selected portfolio’s transactions are not already visible, the extension opens its Google Finance activity page in a temporary inactive tab, reads the transaction table after it loads, and closes that tab.
- The extension creates one CSV file, or a ZIP containing multiple CSV files, and saves it through Chrome’s normal download system.
Chrome permissions
- Host access to
https://www.google.com/finance/*: lets the extension find portfolio and watchlist information and read selected portfolio activity tables. This access does not extend to other Google services or other websites. - Downloads: lets the extension save the CSV or ZIP file you requested. The extension does not inspect, change or delete your existing downloads.
Storage and retention
Scanned information is held temporarily in the extension popup’s browser memory while you prepare the export. The extension does not write the scanned information to Chrome extension storage, a Folivue database or any other server. Temporary portfolio tabs are closed after they are scanned, and the in-memory information disappears when the popup is closed.
The resulting CSV or ZIP file remains in your Downloads folder until you move or delete it. Chrome may also show the download in its ordinary download history. Both are controlled by you and Chrome; Folivue does not receive or retain a copy.
Sharing and transfers
The extension does not sell, share or transmit the extracted portfolio, watchlist or transaction information to Folivue, advertisers, analytics providers or any other third party. No Folivue account is required to use it.
Temporary portfolio pages are loaded directly from Google Finance over HTTPS, just like any Google Finance page you open yourself. Google’s handling of your Google account and those page requests is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The Folivue Portfolio Exporter’s use of information obtained from Google Finance adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The information is used only to provide the export feature you requested.
The extension does not use or transfer that information for advertising, analytics, profiling, creditworthiness, lending or any purpose unrelated to its single export purpose. Folivue personnel cannot view the information processed by the extension.
Your choices
You control whether to open the extension, which lists to export and what to do with the downloaded files. You can stop an export by closing the popup, delete downloaded files using your operating system, or remove the extension from Chrome at any time. Because the extension keeps no server-side account or stored copy of the scanned information, there is no extension-held portfolio data for Folivue to access, correct or delete on your behalf.
Security
The extension limits its website access to Google Finance, processes extracted information locally, and uses HTTPS when loading any necessary Google Finance activity page. Avoid sharing an exported file with anyone you do not want to see its contents. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes
If the extension’s data practices change, we will update this page and the date above. We will also update the Chrome Web Store disclosures and provide any additional notice or consent required before a materially different practice takes effect.
